Freight type

Simutrans freight types (also known as goods types) are used to group things that a player can transport (with a given vehicle). These can be

  • passengers or mail (two types with special handling in several aspects)
  • products to be transported from a factory (or another supplier) to a consumer (power plant, market or factory)

The transport revenue (including speed bonus) is set depending on the freight type.
